Private Vault is an optional cloud privacy mode. Your passphrase wraps the vault encryption key so locked vault data stays unreadable without your key. It includes passphrase unlock, idle lock, manual lock, and a recovery kit at setup. See Private Vault details.
Ultimate includes Private Vault. Basic and Pro can buy it as a paid add-on for $3/mo or $36/yr. Free Forever does not include Private Vault.
No. If you lose your passphrase and recovery phrase, the data cannot be recovered by Arsenal Vault. Save your recovery kit somewhere safe before enabling Private Vault. Resetting your account password also does not recover the Private Vault key.
